Julie DeMaggio developed GreenDot after some years of working in the Los Angeles fashion industry. She has been sewing since the age of eight, patternmaking since the age of, well, for a while now, and plays a mean air tambourine. Julie has been designing up and down the LA-Orange County coastline everything from kids' wear to swimwear, from missy dresses, to maternity. These days she's a Chico gal, after returning to her hometown, and teaches fashion classes at Butte College. Julie strives to create an atmosphere of creative idea-sharing and believes that anyone can 'be their own designer!'

Kris Nunes is fondly known as The Shortcut Queen, sewing everything from ski pants to Halloween costumes quickly and without a pattern. Kris is a kamikaze crafter; she can make anything from beaded jewelry to mosaic flowerpots. She has been sewing since she was a young lass and has made more than one high-school-dance formal dress. Now that the 80's are back, Kris is your go-to gal for her extensive knowledge on legwarmers, Izod shirts, and bad perms. After laying down 18 years in the dental field, she's also your expert on uniform scrubs!
